Evaluation
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launched on May 15, 2025 as a complete package of eight classic fighting games. Shortly after launch, Capcom issued a free title update on August 7, 2025 that added four unlockable characters to Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER (Maki, Yun, Eagle, and Ingrid via EX settings), new gameplay modes, training mode improvements for Plasma Sword, two new remix tracks, and additional gallery artwork. This post-launch update has since shipped in full. All four DLC items on the store are soundtrack volumes, all of which released on June 13, 2025 — there are no unreleased DLC entries. Capcom has made no announcements of additional content beyond what has already shipped, and there have been no developer communications after the August 7, 2025 update. The game appears to have launched and been supported as a finished product, with the August 2025 free update representing the conclusion of its post-launch content additions.
