Capitalism 2

Capitalism 2 is a classic business simulation game that originally launched in the early 2000s and was brought to Steam on August 1, 2017. The store description presents it as a complete, feature-rich product with no mention of planned additions, DLC, or future content. There are no DLC listings of any kind. Developer activity after the Steam launch consisted entirely of compatibility and quality-of-life patches: a cluster of updates in early-to-mid 2019 (versions 1.10 through 1.13) addressed display improvements, Windows compatibility, and bug fixes, followed by a graphics refresh in March 2023 (v1.20) that replaced product images and character portraits. There have been no developer communications of any kind since March 7, 2023. No major content expansions were ever released post-launch, no future content was ever announced, and no roadmap or DLC was ever posted. The game was published as a complete, finished product — a port of an existing title — and the subsequent patch activity reflects maintenance of that existing content rather than development of anything new. The developer has not indicated any intention to add further content.
