Cards and Castles is no longer available for purchase on Steam — there are no active purchase options on the store. The game launched in December 2015 and received several major expansions over its lifetime, including Monster Island (July 2016), The Archanon War (February 2017), Dwarves and Dinosaurs (July 2017), and The Enchanted Grove (January 2018). The developer had already signaled the game's end-of-life in the store description, noting players should move to the successor title Cards and Castles ULTIMATE, and an August 2025 news post confirmed an open beta for that new game. With no purchase options now available, the original Cards and Castles has been delisted from the storefront.
