Carly and the Reaperman launched on June 19, 2018 and received a series of post-launch updates through early 2020. These included bug fixes, new language support, single-player mode, balance adjustments, and online multiplayer integration via Parsec and Steam Remote Play Together. The most recent developer communication was on January 29, 2020, when version 1.31 added smoother Remote Play Together integration. Since that date — over six years ago — there have been no further posts, patches, announcements, or developer communications of any kind. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap or future content was announced, and the developer has not signaled any intention to continue updating the game. The store description describes a complete, self-contained package with a defined level count and feature set. The game launched as a finished product and received polish updates for about 18 months before going quiet. It is best understood as a complete game with no further content planned.

About this game

In the depths of the Underworld, Carly and the Reaperman visit the worlds of the spirits that inhabit this place. Master platforming, solve puzzles and build your way to victory. This asymmetrical game let's the giant Reaperman pick up platforms, and the little girl Carly jumps on top of the platforms that the Reaperman places. You can either control both characters by yourself, or grab a friend to play with - either way, escaping the Underworld is not an easy task!
