The developer shipped three post-launch patches in early 2015: version 1.2 (January 30) adding Steam trading cards and quality-of-life improvements, version 1.3 (February 27) adding achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saves, and version 1.4 (May 28) adding a "Humble Builder" mode for players who want a relaxed, enemy-free experience. After May 28, 2015, the developer has made no further posts about new features or content — over a decade of silence. The store description describes a fully enumerated content set (18 normal levels, 15 King Mode levels, 4 survival rounds, 30 achievements, 20 atlas pages) with no mention of ongoing updates or future additions. There are no DLC listings and no announced future content. The game launched as a finished product and its content was complete as of the final feature update on May 28, 2015.

In "Protect the Castle" mode, you must keep the pre-made castles intact as much as possible by dealing with swarms of enemies attempting to take over... thankfully you have unlimited items in this frantic mode since the enemies are unlimited, too!

Story and Concept
Monarchs come to you with a specific castle request, and your job is to build their dream palace piece by piece before the deadline without making mistakes. In the meantime, enemies come in and try to break your castle. They will try to burn it, explode it or even steal the pieces but you must get rid of them with the right items to reclaim control!In "Protect the Castle" mode, you must keep the pre-made castles intact as much as possible by dealing with swarms of enemies attempting to take over... thankfully you have unlimited items in this frantic mode since the enemies are unlimited, too!
