Cat Quest is the original entry in The Gentlebros' action RPG series, released on August 8, 2017. After launch, the developer shipped two notable content updates: a major November 2017 patch that added Mew Game mode, New Game+, Russian language support, and balance changes, followed by a Christmas Update on December 19, 2017 that added a full new questline with new enemies, bosses, and armor. These represent the full post-launch content cycle for Cat Quest.
Since the Christmas 2017 update, the developer has not released any further updates or announcements for the original Cat Quest. All subsequent developer activity visible in the news feed relates to Cat Quest II (which received its own updates in 2020 and 2021) and Cat Quest III (announced in May 2023, launched August 8, 2024, and celebrated its one-year anniversary on August 8, 2025). The studio is clearly active and thriving — they have simply moved on to sequels. The original Cat Quest was released as a complete, standalone experience and received its final content update in December 2017.
There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no developer statement suggesting further content for Cat Quest. The game is a finished product.

The world of Felingard is littered with interesting places and people! Discover a possessed town whose residents lust for obscene amounts of meat, assist the mages Mewlin and Meowgan in their search to break a magic seal, and locate someone's missing delivery of "House of Parchments" and "The Pouncing Dead". Exploration is one of the main scratching posts of Cat Quest, and with locations such as Bermewda's Triangle, the Furbidden Fields, and Pawt City to explore, it's time to get pawing!
