Cats and Seek: Osaka

Cats and Seek: Osaka launched on November 27, 2023 as the first entry in Noobzilla's Cats and Seek series. The game shipped complete with one main level (100 hidden cats) and an Extra Level DLC — both available on launch day. A small update in December 2023 added more cats to the DLC level, but no further content has been added or announced for this specific title since. The developer has remained active, but all post-launch work has gone into new games rather than additional content for Osaka. In their April 2025 launch post for Cats and Seek: Tokyo, the developer explicitly described Tokyo as the conclusion of the Japan trilogy — the arc that began with this Osaka entry. Since then, communications have focused entirely on future projects: Cats and Seek: Zoo (targeting a late August 2026 release as of July 31, 2026), a planned Cats and Seek: Kobe set to follow Zoo, and other titles like Pictective and Cats Around Us: Black Cat. None of these announcements involve returning to add content to Osaka. With all DLC shipped at launch, the Japan trilogy formally wrapped up, and no outstanding commitments to this title, Cats and Seek: Osaka is a complete, finished product.
