Cats in Time launched on August 26, 2021 as a complete puzzle game with 290 cats across 7 locations. Pine Studio added free seasonal content post-launch: a Halloween level (announced October 29, 2021 as part of a "Seasons Pack" with 3 more levels promised), a Holiday level (December 24, 2021), and two new levels — Ancient China and Summer Beach — which shipped on December 22, 2022 and added 20 cats and 6 postcards. The December 2022 update appears to represent the fulfillment of the Seasons Pack content arc. Since then, the only news posted to the Cats in Time page has been a cross-promotion on September 7, 2023 for a Portal DLC in their other game, Escape Simulator — not new content for Cats in Time itself. There have been no developer communications about additional Cats in Time content since December 2022, no unreleased DLC listed on the store, no roadmap or announced future updates, and no sustained pattern suggesting more content is forthcoming. The store description highlights the Steam version as the "ultimate version" featuring new levels and extra content, language consistent with a finalized, enhanced release rather than an ongoing content pipeline. The game reads as a complete, self-contained product with its post-launch seasonal content cycle now concluded.
