Cave Heroes launched on November 1, 2023 and has received consistent post-launch updates across nearly three years. The developer has shipped a seasonal New Year's Event every December: v5.5.2 in December 2023, v5.6.0 in December 2024, and v5.7.0 in December 2025. This establishes a clear annual major content cadence. Outside these seasonal updates, the developer also shipped a "The Beginning" event in March 2024 (v5.5.5), added Steam Achievements in November 2023, and released regular bug fixes and feature patches throughout the period. All 12 DLC items listed on the store were released at launch and appear to be cosmetic or booster packs — none are unreleased. The most recent developer communication was December 13, 2025 (v5.7.0). With an established annual cadence for major seasonal content and the next expected update due around December 2026, we are currently within that window. Cave Heroes

Cave Heroes is a challenging idle game where you explore dungeons, fight demons and face powerfull bosses. Descending into the depths of the caves, you will find forgotten knowledge, learn to use Dark Mana, collect powerful loot and absorb the power of the Archdemons.

Improve You Village

Unlock new buildings, hire workers, veterans and archmages and watch your heroes' stats grow. Perform Dark Rituals, idle to accumulate resources, build more buildings and watch as previously invincible enemies are defeated in one blow.
