Centipede Gun launched on December 21, 2023 as a complete roguelite autobattler. The developer shipped one major content update — version 1.1.0 on October 28, 2024 — which delivered the inbetween-run shop, endless mode with an online leaderboard, controller support, and four new units. A follow-up bug fix patch (1.1.1) was released on November 1, 2024 to address issues introduced by the 1.1.0 update. Notably, the January 9, 2024 patch (1.0.6) included a "What's next?" section that outlined plans for a run currency/skins shop, more units, and an endless mode. All three of those items were delivered in the October 28, 2024 update, meaning every publicly communicated content commitment has been fulfilled. The developer has not announced any additional content plans beyond what has already shipped, and there have been no posts since November 1, 2024. With all stated goals delivered and no new content signaled, the game appears content-complete as of the October 28, 2024 major update.
