Evaluation
CHAIRS launched on May 17, 2024 as a self-described "bite-sized" ~1-hour action platformer with seven levels. Its only DLC is a free soundtrack, released August 1, 2024. On January 31, 2025, the developer shipped version 1.1.0, adding a new bonus level called "Hungry House" along with new achievements, a leaderboard, a hidden unlockable skin, and two new soundtrack tracks. This is the only major content update the game has received. Since that update, developer activity has consisted entirely of maintenance patches — bug fixes and platform compatibility improvements (Steam Deck keyboard/mouse support in February 2026, checkpoint and shadow bug fixes in March 2026, a workshop hotfix in May 2026). There are no unreleased DLC entries, no developer announcements of upcoming content, and no roadmap for future additions. The store description presents the game as a complete, finite experience. The pattern of sustained bug-fix activity after the January 2025 content release indicates the developer remains engaged in maintaining the game, but there is no evidence that additional content is planned beyond what has already shipped.

Version 1.1.0 shipped a new bonus level (Hungry House), new achievements, a leaderboard, an unlockable skin, and two additional soundtrack tracks. This is the only major content addition post-launch.
Free CHAIRS Soundtrack DLC released. It is the only DLC listed and is marked as released — no unreleased DLC exists on the store.
