Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom

Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom launched on April 9, 2024 and received two free post-launch content updates: a new "Psycho Taxi" level added on June 27, 2024 (version 1.1.0), and "The Rat Update" on September 24, 2024 (version 1.2.0), which introduced a new collectible companion and cheese items across levels. Both updates were delivered free to all players. On September 9, 2025 — roughly one year after the last content update — the developers (Lorenzo & Matteo of Panik Arcade) published a post celebrating the game's anniversary, thanking the community, and announcing their next game, CloverPit, launching September 26, 2025. Critically, they made no mention of any further content for Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom. The tone and framing of the post reads as a fond farewell to the game as they move on to their next project. Since that September 2025 anniversary post, there have been no further developer communications about Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom. The two free content updates followed an approximately three-month cadence (April → June → September 2024), but that pattern has not continued — more than 20 months have passed since The Rat Update with no new content. The studio has clearly shifted focus to CloverPit, which launched in late September 2025. There is no unreleased DLC on the store, no announced future content, and no roadmap. The game appears to have wrapped up its post-launch support with The Rat Update in September 2024.
