Chambers of Devious Design launched on September 5, 2022 and received three feature patches in its first two months (versions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3), with the last patch on November 3, 2022 adding new room shapes and a new game mode. After that, all developer communication shifted away from this game. On March 4, 2024, the developer announced the release of a different game (Mortal Glory 2), and on December 8, 2024, they announced yet another new project (Roguebound Pirates). There are no unreleased DLC, no announced future content for Chambers of Devious Design, and no roadmap or promises of additional updates. The developer's attention has clearly moved on to new projects. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received a handful of post-launch polish patches before development concluded in late 2022.
