Charrua Soccer – Pro Edition launched on Steam on August 25, 2023 and quickly entered a steady rhythm of post-launch content. BATOVI shipped a Halloween-themed tournament in October 2023, a Winter/Asia Cup update in December 2023, the Africa Cup in May 2024, a Beach Tournament summer update in June 2024, and a European Cup addition on June 29, 2024. That amounts to three named major content drops and multiple feature patches across the game's first year — roughly one meaningful update every one to three months.
However, June 29, 2024 marks the last public communication from the developer on record. As of June 19, 2026, nearly twelve months have passed with no new posts, patch notes, or announcements. This silence significantly exceeds the cadence BATOVI had established. The developer has not issued any statement indicating the game is complete, nor have they explained the gap. Given the previously active update schedule, the unexplained and extended absence raises real uncertainty about whether further development is continuing.
