Chicken Hill launched on January 15, 2025 as a casual hidden-object/collection game. Since launch, the developer (梗立游戏) has remained consistently active, releasing patches, a free soundtrack DLC (February 14, 2025), and additional cosmetic content via Steam's Points Shop. The most recent post, dated May 22, 2026, announced a second wave of Points Shop items — animated stickers, animated avatars, and profile backgrounds — demonstrating that the developer is still actively producing new content for the game. Prior to that, a "team mode" (开团模式) gameplay expansion was previewed in December 2024 and appears to have shipped as part of the game's evolving content. The sole DLC listed on the store (the soundtrack) has been released. No future unshipped DLC is listed, and the developer has not announced a named upcoming expansion. However, given the developer's unbroken activity from launch through May 22, 2026, and the ongoing cadence of new content additions, the game is clearly still receiving active post-launch support.
