Evaluation
Child of Light launched on April 29, 2014 as a self-contained story-driven RPG. All 7 DLC packs listed on the store have been released — these are minor cosmetic and item packs (oculi, character skin variants, and a small bonus dungeon). The last developer communication was a patch on June 12, 2014, which added language support and fixed bugs shortly after launch. There have been no developer posts, announcements, roadmaps, or new content drops in the years since. The game's store description makes no mention of planned future content or ongoing updates. Child of Light was designed and shipped as a complete, standalone narrative experience, and there is no evidence of any further development activity.
