Chinese Online Game launched on July 18, 2024 and has been actively developed by its solo developer ever since. The game has received a consistent stream of major free content updates: the Sharp Mode DLC (September 27, 2024), the Lottery Mode DLC (December 20, 2024), a Chinese New Year update with Snake-year themed content (January 23, 2025), additional lottery ticket content (March 14, 2025), a brand-new free Fishing Mode (June 26, 2025), and a one-year anniversary update with exclusive in-game items (July 23, 2025). On top of these, a mobile version of the game launched in public testing in November 2025.
On January 3, 2025, the developer explicitly stated they will continue to update and maintain the game going forward and launched a player survey to gather ideas for future content. The one-year anniversary post in July 2025 highlighted how much the game has grown since launch and expressed ongoing commitment to player enjoyment. All four DLC items currently listed on the store have been released. The most recent major content shipped on June 26, 2025, just under a month before today's date of June 24, 2026 — well within the roughly 3–6 month cadence the developer has established between major updates. No end-of-development announcement has been made.
