Anomaly Agent

Anomaly Agent launched on January 24, 2024 as a complete action-adventure game. Before launch, the developer explicitly promised two free post-launch additions: a Hardcore New Game+ mode and a special challenge mode. Both were delivered on March 28, 2024 in the form of the "Rogue Agent" free major update, which introduced the roguelike challenge mode. A platform expansion to Mac and Linux followed on September 15, 2024. On December 21, 2024, Phew Phew Games announced that their next project — Anomaly President, a separate game — is now in development. All subsequent developer posts (through March 2026) relate exclusively to Anomaly President, including new weapon reveals, gameplay overviews, and an Early Access release date announcement for August 3, 2026. None of these posts mention additional content planned for Anomaly Agent. The developer's attention has fully shifted to their next title. All pre-launch content commitments for Anomaly Agent were fulfilled by March 28, 2024, and no further content has been announced for the game since. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which released on January 31, 2024. Anomaly Agent appears to be a complete, finished product.
