Class of '09 launched on June 10, 2021 as a complete visual novel with 15 endings, 25 characters, and full voice acting. In October 2022, the developer released a free V1.2 upgrade adding an ending tracker, in-game lore text messages, and a bonus unlockable story stem — described as a thank-you to players for the game's positive reception. This represents the final content addition to the base game.
The developer's ongoing creative output has been directed toward standalone follow-up titles in the same universe rather than additional content for the original. "Class of '09: The Re-Up" launched as a separate game in May 2023, and "Class of '09: The Flip Side" was announced in July 2024. Most recently, in June 2026, the developer announced "Class of '09: Puzzle Showdown," a new standalone entry with multiplayer and different gameplay mechanics, releasing July 17, 2026.
None of these announcements indicate new content coming to the original Class of '09. The series is actively expanding through new standalone titles, but the base game itself is a finished product with no outstanding commitments.
