Classified Stories: Color Out of Space

Classified Stories: Color Out of Space is a free-to-play horror adventure game that launched on July 8, 2022. At launch, the developer stated they would "continue updating the game and add new content in the near future," but only a single hotfix followed four days later (July 12, 2022). No further updates, patches, or content announcements have been made for this game since July 2022. The most recent developer communication (February 24, 2026) is not about this game at all — it promotes a new, unrelated title called Void Future: Hacking Protocol. There is no DLC, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no sustained post-launch update pattern. Given that nearly four years have passed since the last update with no indication of further development, the game is best understood as a short, complete experience that shipped as a finished product. The launch-day promise of future content was never followed through on in any observable way.
