Evaluation
Clocker launched on February 14–15, 2019 as a complete narrative puzzle game. In the months following launch, the developer shipped one meaningful post-launch content update — a major patch on April 19, 2019 that added a hint mini-game and numerous bug fixes — followed by continued maintenance patches through September 30, 2019 (the last recorded developer communication). Both DLC items (the Original Soundtrack and Digital Artbook) were released on February 15, 2019 and no unreleased DLC exists.
The clearest signal about the game's future came from a January 30, 2022 developer post, where Wild Kid Games confirmed they had moved on to building a new game — a simulation/strategy title about life genes and outer space — and had been working on it for over a year at that point. This is a direct statement from the developer that Clocker is complete and the studio's focus has shifted elsewhere. No content announcements, roadmaps, or plans for additional Clocker content have been made at any point. The game shipped as a self-contained story and has received no major content additions since late 2019.
