Evaluation
Closure launched on September 7, 2012 as a complete, self-contained puzzle game. It has never had DLC or post-launch content expansions. The only developer activity since launch has been technical maintenance: in April and November 2024, the developer (Tyler) published a "2024 Maintenance Update" that rebuilt the game's project from scratch to fix compatibility issues with modern hardware — updated graphics libraries, fixed shader problems, restored Mac support, and addressed high-resolution display issues. The developer was explicit that this was purely a technical update with no gameplay changes. In that same post, Tyler noted he has been working on a separate game (Mewgenics) — not any new content for Closure. There are no announced expansions, DLC, or future updates planned for the game.
Evidence
Developer explicitly states the 2024 Maintenance Update is 'purely a technical update' with 'no gameplay changes,' aimed at fixing compatibility with modern hardware. Also mentions his current project is a different game (Mewgenics).
Store description describes Closure as a complete puzzle game with a defined set of environments and story — no mention of ongoing content, DLC, or future updates.
