Evaluation
Coal Mining Simulator launched on April 11, 2023 after a lengthy development period that included a prologue and demo phase. Following launch, the developer (GamePlanet/Grande Games) released a series of bug fix patches in April 2023 (patches 1.03 and 1.04) and then shipped a substantial feature update — Patch 1.05 — on June 28, 2023, which added new gameplay mechanics, UI improvements, and additional vehicle features. That June 2023 patch represents the last meaningful update to the game itself. The two news posts from May 29, 2024 are announcements for entirely separate GamePlanet titles (Switch Range and Legends of the Eternal Flame) — they do not indicate any new content coming to Coal Mining Simulator. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements promising future content for this game. The developer has not communicated about Coal Mining Simulator since the Patch 1.05 release in June 2023, and the post-launch update activity has fully ceased. The game launched as a complete product and received its final round of updates by June 2023.
Evidence
Patch 1.05 released — the largest post-launch update, adding new gameplay features, UI improvements, and bug fixes. This is the last update specifically for Coal Mining Simulator.
Developer announced April 11, 2023 as the full release date for Coal Mining Simulator, describing it as the complete version of the game.
