Cockroach Simulator

Cockroach Simulator launched on September 16, 2016. In the weeks following launch, HFM Games was very active, shipping a rapid series of feature updates and bug fixes — version 0.0.8 through 0.1.9 — bringing new characters, gameplay mechanics, multiplayer region selection, and various fixes. The last recorded developer communication was the October 27, 2016 bug fix update (version 0.1.9). No updates, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since that date. The game has no unreleased DLC listed on the store, no announced future content, and no roadmap. The developer's only explicit statement about the game's direction was a brief launch-day post on September 17, 2016 saying they were "actively working on the game" — a statement that predates the subsequent patch activity and was almost certainly referring to that early post-launch development period, which concluded in late October 2016. With nearly a decade of silence since the last update, the game appears to have reached the end of its development cycle shortly after launch.
