Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ and Firestorm™

Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun and Firestorm arrived on Steam on March 7, 2024 as part of the C&C Ultimate Collection re-release on Steam. The game is a classic title originally released in 1999, brought back to a modern storefront in its complete form — the base game plus the Firestorm expansion pack are both included in the package as described on the store page. The only post-launch developer communication, from February 27, 2025, focused on franchise-wide quality-of-life improvements: releasing source code for several older C&C titles under open-source licenses and adding Steam Workshop support for custom maps across multiple games. Notably, Tiberian Sun was not listed among the titles receiving Steam Workshop support (the list covered Renegade, Generals & Zero Hour, Tiberium Wars, Red Alert 3, and C&C 4). The announcement celebrates community empowerment and preservation efforts broadly across the franchise but does not announce any new content, patches, or future updates specifically for Tiberian Sun. There is no DLC, no roadmap, no unshipped content, and no developer statement suggesting further updates are planned for this specific title. The game was re-released as a complete, classic package and shows no signs of ongoing content development.
