Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts is a standalone expansion to the original Company of Heroes, released on September 24, 2007. It shipped as a complete, self-contained product with two full single-player campaigns and expanded multiplayer content. The most recent developer communication specific to this title was a December 2013 patch that migrated the game's online servers from Quazal to Valve's Steamworks infrastructure, allowing online play to continue. The developer noted at that time they hoped to see players "on the field of battle" for many more years — but this was a maintenance update, not new content. A August 2015 news post appeared in this game's feed but referred to a free trial for Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces, a separate product entirely. No new content, DLC, expansions, or roadmaps have been announced for Opposing Fronts. The game launched as a finished expansion pack and has remained so for nearly two decades.
