Console Shop Simulator entered Steam Early Access on July 20, 2025 and has been in exceptionally active development ever since. The developer, Lance Games, has shipped a steady stream of major content updates: Update 0.0.6 (August 23, 2025), Update 0.0.8 (September 28, 2025), Update 0.3 (December 18, 2025), Update 0.4 (January 7, 2026), Update 0.5 (January 26, 2026), Update 0.6 (March 11, 2026), Update 0.7 (April 8, 2026), and Update 0.8 (July 10, 2026), followed by two hotfixes on July 12 and July 23, 2026. That's a major update roughly every 4–8 weeks across the entire Early Access period. Each update has brought substantial new content — arcade machines, Workshop mod support, new store expansion floors, a blackjack minigame, employee AI improvements, and more. The game's version number (currently 0.8.x) and Early Access status clearly indicate it is still progressing toward a 1.0 release. The developer has not announced a 1.0 launch date or any end to content development.
