Evaluation
Construction Simulator 2 US – Pocket Edition is a PC port of a mobile game, released on September 12, 2018. The store description presents it as a complete, self-contained product — a port of an existing mobile title with no mention of planned expansions, seasonal content, or additional content of any kind. The game shipped with its full content (40 vehicles, 60+ construction jobs, four districts) at launch.
The developer's news history for this game contains no post-launch content updates. The news posts from 2022 advertise a brand-new sequel — Construction Simulator (2022) — as a separate product on Steam, not an update to this game. The only update issued for this title after launch was a security patch on October 3, 2025, addressing a Unity vulnerability. This is a maintenance-only patch with no bearing on content status.
This game launched as a finished product and has received no post-launch content expansions. The developer's attention has clearly moved on to the 2022 successor in the series.
Evidence
Store description presents the game as a complete PC port of the mobile hit, with a fixed set of 40 vehicles and 60+ jobs. No mention of planned DLC, expansions, or ongoing content.
Developer announced and released a full sequel — Construction Simulator (2022) — as a separate Steam product, indicating the studio moved on from this title to a new entry in the series.
