About this game

Endless work, inescapable clients, running into your boss on your day off, and getting a new email the second you clock out—feeling totally burned out? Come escape with us and learn how to truly lie flat!

This is a healing sanctuary built specifically for all the physically and mentally exhausted modern workers out there. Here, there are no rushed project deadlines, no late-night panic calls, and nothing but pure, unadulterated zoning out and doing absolutely nothing. Put down those endless reports, toss your mouse and keyboard aside, and give yourself a blank slate of time where you don't have to socialize or try at all.

Ready to temporarily log out of real life? Take a deep breath, shed the pressures of reality, and join us in this pain-free art of taking it easy!

[Features]

Emails flood in, clients chase revisions, and the boss schedules one last meeting. Your goal: survive three minutes and clock out on time.

  • Slacking is a strategy: Hold Space to stop, lie down and charge your paid-leave meter while earning points. Rest feels good. Incoming work disagrees. Find a safe moment, use coffee to shield yourself, then spend a full meter to clear every task on screen.

  • Choose your own benefits: Every 30 seconds, pick one of three randomly offered perks. Move faster, extend your coffee shield, shorten its cooldown, charge leave faster, restore your energy or earn bigger near-miss bonuses. Five choices shape each shift.

  • From inbox overload to the last-minute meeting: The workload rises every 30 seconds across six levels. Individual shots grow denser, and boss barrages arrive more often with more projectiles. Emails fly straight, clients briefly track you, and boss barrages show their lanes before arriving, leaving a safe gap. Choose your perk, then face the next rush.

    • Up to three minutes of active play per run. Perk choices and pauses stop the clock.

    • Regular and Easy shifts: start with four or six hearts; Easy also slows incoming work.

    • Near-miss combos, separate local best scores for each difficulty and four local record badges.

    • Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese interfaces.

    • Keyboard gameplay, mouse menus, pause, mute, reduced motion and fullscreen options.

    • Separate music and sound-effect volume controls with automatically saved settings.

  • You've already worked enough today. This shift takes three minutes. Learn the ropes on an Easy Shift, or chase a new personal best on a Regular Shift by slipping past work and finding just enough time for a nap.

[Gameplay]

  • WASD / arrow keys: move. Hold SHIFT: precision movement.

  • Hold SPACE: slack off and charge. Z: coffee shield. X: paid leave at 100% charge.

  • 1 / 2 / 3 or click a card: choose a perk. On the main menu, 1 / 2 / 3 switches languages.

  • ESC / P: pause or resume. Switching away from the game also pauses play.

  • On the results screen: R / ENTER for another shift; ESC for the main menu.

  • M: toggle mute. F11: toggle fullscreen. F12: save a screenshot.

  • New here? Start with an Easy Shift: six hearts, slower projectiles and longer gaps between attacks. A Regular Shift starts with four hearts. Both modes get busier every 30 seconds and keep separate local best scores.

[Updates]

v1.1

  • A brighter, cozier interface:[/b] Cream, sage and peach, with sunshine, houseplants and a sleepy pig.

  • Three-minute clock-out challenges: A 180-second goal, with naps to recharge, coffee shields and paid leave to clear the screen.

  • More work every 30 seconds: Six workload levels, boss barrages with warning lanes and a gap, and five chances to pick one of three perks per run.

  • Two difficulties and local records: Regular and Easy shifts, separate best scores, near-miss combos and four local badges.

  • Clear personal records: A confirmation in the main menu lets you reset scores, badges and play records while keeping your preferences.

  • Independent volume controls: Louder music and effects by default, with separate 0–100% sliders in the main and pause menus, sound preview and automatic saving.

  • Familiar logo and sounds: The original startup logo and defeat sound, plus pause, automatic pause when switching away, reduced motion, fullscreen and screenshots.
