Evaluation
Soundodger 2 launched into full 1.0 release on April 10, 2023, after a period in Early Access. The developer described this launch as completing the game: "All features and songs and levels and dreams in general are in the game, ready for you to dodge to your heart's content."
Since then, the developer has shipped two post-launch updates. On October 25, 2025, version 1.1.0 added a "Lost Levels" collection — alternate and previously unseen versions of levels from development — primarily motivated by a Unity security vulnerability that required updating the game's engine. The developer framed this as a bonus find rather than planned future content. On April 1, 2026, version 1.1.3 pushed out quality-of-life fixes that had been sitting on the beta branch.
The only DLC ever listed is the soundtrack, which released alongside the game on April 10, 2023. No additional DLC or expansions have been announced or listed. The developer has made no statements promising future content updates.
The post-launch updates have been maintenance and minor bonus content in nature, not part of an ongoing development roadmap. The most recent developer communication was on April 1, 2026. With no announced future content and no sustained cadence of major content additions, the game is considered content-complete. The October 25, 2025 Lost Levels update represents the last meaningful content addition.
Evidence
Developer announced 1.0 launch, stating all features, songs, levels, and content are in the game and ready to play — framing it as the completion of the project.
Version 1.1.0 added 'Lost Levels' — previously unseen alternate versions of existing levels — prompted by a Unity security update. Developer did not frame this as part of ongoing planned content, but as a bonus uncovered during the required engine update.
