Cosmic Flow: A Relaxing VR Experience

Cosmic Flow launched on March 30, 2020 as a relaxing VR experience. The store page includes a note from the developer stating: "I'm currently working on adding interactive elements to this experience, stay tuned!" — indicating that additional content was planned beyond the base release. However, the only developer communication on record is the launch announcement from March 30, 2020. There have been no patch notes, blog posts, or updates of any kind since that date. The promised interactive elements do not appear to have ever shipped, and the developer has not provided any update on their status. This silence spans from March 30, 2020 through today, June 25, 2026 — over six years with no official communication. The one released DLC is a "Supporter Option" — effectively a tip jar — and does not represent new gameplay content. Given the long-standing promise of interactive elements that remains unfulfilled and the complete absence of developer communication since launch day, it is unclear whether this development work is still ongoing.
