Cosmic Sugar VR
Released Nov 2016
Cosmic Sugar is an elegant, GPU driven simulation space. Vive wands become attractors or repulsors which allow you to craft nebulas. The controls are very simple, but it takes some time to explore all of the possibilities. Thanks to East Forest for the trailer music.

Evaluation
Cosmic Sugar VR launched on November 27, 2016 as a free-to-play VR sandbox experience. On December 4, 2018, the developer released the "Cosmic Sugar Pro" DLC — the only paid expansion — which added instruments, sound, snapshot features, and performance improvements. At the time of that release, the developer mentioned they would continue development "if there is sufficient interest." The last substantive update to the game was a minor DLC activation bug fix on March 20, 2020. The only developer news post since then (April 19, 2026) was an announcement for an entirely separate, unrelated game called Brain Candy — not any new content for Cosmic Sugar VR. With one released DLC, no unreleased content listed, no further updates or announcements for Cosmic Sugar since March 2020, and the developer's attention apparently turned to a new project, the game appears to be a complete, finished product as of December 4, 2018.
Evidence
Developer released the Cosmic Sugar Pro DLC after a year of development, adding instruments, sound, snapshots, and performance improvements. Noted future development would depend on sufficient interest.
The only DLC, Cosmic Sugar VR Full, has been released. No unreleased DLC is listed.
