Cowboy Life Simulator is an Early Access game that launched on November 26, 2025 as Odd Qubit's debut title. Since launch, the team has shipped a steady stream of updates: a Christmas patch (December 2025), a first full patch (December 2025), an automation-focused update in February 2026, a potion and foraging update in March 2026, the substantial "Whispers in the Woods" mystical storyline update in May 2026, and now the horses and bridge update — which opened the "trappers' lands" map area — going live for all players on August 19, 2026.
In the August 19, 2026 post, the developer is explicit about what comes next: fishing is arriving on the unstable test branch within the coming month, followed by a full main-branch release. After fishing, the developer has committed to a 1.0 launch in late November 2026. That final release is described as bringing the story's ending, a female character option, farm workers, and full gamepad support — features the team originally hoped to include in the current update but had to defer.
The developer is communicating regularly and has a clear, stated path to 1.0. There are two more concrete milestones between the current state and the finished game.

The Wild West is teeming with life, especially the small town of Bravestand. Each resident has their habits, favorite places, and problems. Make friends with them, learn the history and life of the town by helping solve the problems of your new neighbors and local residents. Help out and strengthen the bonds of friendship, and you'll gain not only good neighbors but also devoted friends!
Run your ranch in your own style. You decide where your house will stand, where the goat pen will be, and where you'll sow grain and plant cabbage. Create your own corner of the Wild West with many available decorations and buildings. Run your ranch your way, take care of animals, and plant diverse crops. Trade with town residents to get new recipes and gain access to unknown resources.
And after a day's work on the ranch, pull out your revolver and hop on your horse to seek adventure in the farthest corners of the Wild West, uncovering its most hidden secrets! Find out what lurks in the abandoned mine and what's the deal with that giant rock?
