No Place Like Home launched out of Early Access on March 17, 2022. After launch, the developer shipped a major content update on August 9, 2022 (adding dungeons, challenge mode, and extensive improvements), followed by a substantial content update on May 10, 2023 (new decorative items, a giant duck, new furniture, and a Nintendo Switch port). A feature update on December 12, 2023 added automation robots and full controller support — the last post of meaningful substance in the developer's news feed.
Across 39 scanned posts, there were 4 major content drops post-Early Access, with the cadence slowing significantly after mid-2023. The developer has not published any news, announcements, or updates since December 12, 2023 — a silence of over two and a half years as of today (June 23, 2026). The historical update cadence ran roughly every 3–9 months, making the current silence far beyond any reasonable expectation of a further update. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, no roadmap pointing to unshipped work, and no developer statement about ongoing plans. The fishing patch that was teased as far back as March 2022 and reiterated in December 2022 was never mentioned again after May 2023 (where the developer apologized for delays) and appears to have been quietly abandoned. With no outstanding commitments and an update pattern that has clearly ceased, the game appears to be content-complete as of the December 2023 feature patch.

Welcome to No Place Like Home!
No Place Like Home is a cute and relaxing sim where you play as Ellen Newland. A girl who decides to visit her grandfather, on Earth, for the very last time before she moves to Mars. However, she soon discovers that her grandpa is missing and that his farm was recently destroyed.
With questions on her mind and adventure in her heart, Ellen intends to save the environment, help the community, find her grandpa, and rescue the animals missing from his farm!
- Clean the world, destroy mountains of trash, vacuum all the rubbish, and recycle resources to build your very own dream farm! Everything you need can be found and recycled from trash, and if you befriend local neighbours, they may prove very helpful during your farming and adventuring endeavours.
- Find seeds, become a farmer, and use your produce to cook delicious dishes that can be traded for useful items! There are tons of plants, fruits, vegetables, flowers and trees to find and grow. You can also make honey, jams, mayo, and lots of other preserves to spice up the farming fantasy.
- Explore and go on adventures through many diversified zones. Trek through the wonderous Lonely Hills region and restore the damage done by its poisonous gasses. Save animals from icy weather in Frozen Peaks and fix the leak from an old factory that has turned the local flora into giant mushrooms. Break the giant dam and release the river to bring nature back to the desert.
- Find, rescue and befriend farm animals that have gotten lost throughout the valley. If you gain their trust and take good care of them, you can be sure that they will return the favour. Once you are ready, you can show off your fun side by giving them funky hats and throwing them awesome parties!
- Rebuild, refurbish and decorate your house into a cosy place of perfection. Find awesome decorations and items across the world and use them to personalize your abode. After all, there is No Place Like Home!!
