Evaluation
Cozy Space entered Steam Early Access on August 20, 2023, and has received four major content updates since launch: a camera and UI update (September 2023), multi-room and irregular room support (November 2023), Steam Workshop integration (December 2023), and a full UI overhaul with room grouping functionality (June 14, 2024). The developer also shipped several feature patches between September 2023 and February 2024, adding things like blueprint size increases, Chinese New Year furniture, and pet models.
Throughout this period, the developer consistently stated that more is coming — including a promised 1.0 official release. The June 14, 2024 update post explicitly says they "plan to continue refining the user experience and adding new content for the official version in the future."
However, June 14, 2024 is also the last time the developer has communicated anything publicly. As of June 20, 2026, that is over two years of silence — with no patches, announcements, or developer posts of any kind. The game remains in Early Access, the promised 1.0 release has not been delivered, and there has been no explanation for the extended pause. This raises genuine uncertainty about whether active development is continuing.
