Crab God launched on June 20, 2024 and has received consistent post-launch support. Within the first few months of release, the developer shipped three major updates: new Tide Trials game modes (June 28, 2024), Crabling customization with over 40 accessories (July 26, 2024), and a Community Challenges system that ties in-game goals to real-world ocean conservation (August 27, 2024). These were accompanied by multiple feature patches adding new blessings, controller support, new traits, and various quality-of-life improvements through October 2024. Seasonal content has also been delivered, including a Halloween-themed cave update in October 2024.
