Creepy Tale is the original entry in a series of standalone puzzle-platformer games developed by Creepy Brothers. It launched on February 21, 2020, as a self-contained story with no post-launch DLC or expansions tied to this specific game. The developer subsequently released a series of sequels — Creepy Tale 2 (July 16, 2021), Creepy Tale 3: Ingrid Penance (March 9, 2023), Creepy Tale: Some Other Place (May 30, 2024), and most recently Creepy Tale: Snow Child (May 16, 2026) — each as separate, independently purchasable titles on Steam rather than as DLC for the original game. The only notable post-launch update to the original game was a feature patch in March 2020 adding object highlighting, and a localization update in June 2025 adding Japanese, Korean, and Polish language support. STORY

While walking with your brother, everything turns into horror and drags the hero into a series of terrible events. Your brother has been kidnapped, and you are left face-to-face with an ominous forest filled with dangers and strange creatures. Solve the puzzles that you meet on the way, do not let yourself be caught, and save your brother!
