Tukoni: Prologue is a free, standalone prologue experience that released on November 19, 2020. It was designed and shipped as a self-contained introduction to the Tukoni universe — a complete, finished product in its own right.
The developer's news activity on this page has been focused on the full sequel, Tukoni: Forest Keepers (a separate Steam product). That sequel was announced in June 2024, received a demo in August 2025, participated in Steam Next Fest in February 2026, and — as of August 17, 2026 — has now fully launched. The August 17, 2026 post on this page celebrates Forest Keepers' launch and thanks Prologue players for their support over the years, describing the Prologue as the free game that sustained the team during development.
The Prologue itself received only maintenance-type updates — bug fixes and language localizations — to keep it running as a gateway to the franchise. No new story content, chapters, or DLC for the Prologue has ever been announced. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store.
With Forest Keepers now shipped, the developer's multi-year development journey that was telegraphed through the Prologue page is complete. The Prologue launched as a finished product and remains one.
