Crime Shop Simulator: A Prison Boss Game

Crime Shop Simulator / Prison Boss Prohibition launched on July 10, 2025 and has been actively supported ever since. The developer, TREBUCHET, has shipped three major paid DLC expansions: Stitchin' Rich (September 18, 2025), Grind & Shine (January 22, 2026), and the Cook Pack (March 12, 2026). In between, they have delivered substantial free updates including 4-player co-op and a Christmas seasonal event in December 2025, a full Custom Game Mode in March 2026, regular feature patches improving grab mechanics and other systems, and numerous bug fixes — totalling 50 developer posts since launch. This establishes a clear pattern of major content arriving roughly every 2–4 months. The last major release was the Cook Pack on March 12, 2026, placing us approximately 3 months out as of today (June 20, 2026), comfortably within that historical window. Notably, on March 26, 2026, TREBUCHET announced a brand-new separate game called Compass and explicitly reassured the community: "Prison Boss Prohibition is not dead! The prison is still very much open for business." This is a direct developer statement confirming ongoing support. Compass itself launched on May 28, 2026, but the developer has framed it as a parallel project, not a replacement. All 14 DLC items currently listed are marked as released, but given the active cadence and the developer's own confirmation of continued support, there is every indication more content is coming.
