CROSSBOW: Bloodnight

CROSSBOW: Bloodnight launched on September 24, 2020 as a small, self-contained score-attack arena shooter. The developer shipped a post-launch feature patch on October 28, 2020, then delivered one major content update on February 27, 2023 — "The Hunt Continues" — which added a new arena (Morbid Graveyard) and new enemy types (Frenzied variants). That same post also announced a console release planned for 2023. That February 2023 update is the last substantive content the game received. Since then, developer communications have been limited to a controller support patch on October 21, 2024, and a routine security vulnerability fix on October 6, 2025. Neither of these constitutes new gameplay content, and the developer has made no announcements about additional arenas, enemies, modes, or expansions since February 2023. With two major content drops total (launch and the February 2023 update), the gap since the last content release now extends beyond three years (to June 2026), well past any recognizable update window. The console release teased in February 2023 was an ancillary announcement and not a promise of additional PC content. No unreleased DLC appears in the store listing, no roadmap has been published, and the developer has not indicated any further content plans for the game. The game appears to have reached its final content state with the February 27, 2023 update.
