Crowbar Climber launched on October 31, 2024 as a VR physics climbing game and has been receiving substantial new content at a remarkable and consistent pace ever since. The most recent major update, "Matrix Mountain" (the Dark Web Danger Update), went live on August 6, 2026. An unreleased DLC — "Crowbar Climber: Crowbar Heaven" — remains listed on the store with no release date, representing concrete announced content that has not yet shipped. Notably, a stage called "Crowbar Heaven" was referenced in the November 2025 Space Odyssey update as an existing multiplayer stage, but the DLC listing itself remains unreleased, suggesting it may represent a packaged or expanded version of that content still to come. The developer has explicitly stated ongoing commitment to updates (as of November 2024: "As long as you continue to cheer me on, I'll keep working on updates like New Stages and more exciting content").
