Evaluation

Cyberwar: Neon City entered Early Access on September 24, 2024 and remains actively in development toward a 1.0 release. The developer has delivered a consistent stream of major updates since launch: the 4th floor shipped on February 15, 2025 (V0.7.3), the 5th floor on September 11, 2025 (V0.8.0), a major talent and map overhaul on April 16, 2026 (V0.9.0), a skill tree and drone update on May 15, 2026 (V0.9.1), new rooms and language support on July 3, 2026 (V0.9.3), and most recently the V0.9.4 update on August 3, 2026. That August 3 post explicitly states the team is "finally reaching the final stretch of development" and announces that the 1.0 release date will be revealed during August 2026. This is a clear developer statement that the full launch is imminent but has not yet occurred. The game is still in Early Access and the 1.0 release — which the original roadmap described as including the final boss and story conclusion — remains ahead.
