DARK launched on July 3, 2013. Within its first months, the developer released a small patch on July 29, 2013 adding two new challenge maps, and shipped its only DLC — Cult of the Dead — on December 5, 2013. Since then, no further updates, announcements, or developer communications of any kind appear in the record. The entire post-launch activity window lasted roughly five months, and the most recent developer action was in December 2013. With no unreleased DLC on the store, no roadmaps, and no developer statements indicating future content, the game is a complete package. It launched as a finished single-player title, received one paid DLC expansion, and has had no development activity in over a decade.
