Endoparasitic

Endoparasitic launched on October 24, 2022 as a complete, self-contained survival horror game. The developer (Miziziziz) supported it with a series of patches adding features like hard mode, controller support, and mod support shortly after launch. The most significant post-launch addition was Patch 1.1 on June 16, 2023, which introduced "Endemic Mode" — a new roguelike mode with procedurally generated levels, an upgrade system, and five new bosses. The developer noted at the time that they planned to continue working on that mode "on and off over the next few months," which appears to have concluded with the follow-up patch on August 1, 2023 (Patch 1.1.1). Since then, the developer's attention has shifted to companion products: Endoparasitic VR launched on November 1, 2023 (a full VR remake), and Endoparasitic 2 released on October 1, 2024. The original game has continued to receive minor maintenance — bug fixes, Steam Deck verification (September 11, 2025), and new community translations (May 29, 2026) — but no new content updates since mid-2023. No future content for the original game has been announced. The game launched as a finished product and its one meaningful post-launch content addition (Endemic Mode) has been delivered. Ongoing activity is limited to maintenance and community translation support.
