Dark PGT launched on February 20, 2025 as a solo-developed souls-like RPG. Shortly after launch, the developer shipped a performance optimization patch on February 27, 2025, followed by a substantial graphics and combat systems update on March 28, 2025 adding DLSS support and roughly doubling the frame rate. On May 28, 2026, the developer posted a first look at a full sequel — Dark PGT 2 — and explicitly stated that the original Dark PGT will continue to receive "updates, fixes and future content" alongside the new project. This is a direct developer commitment to ongoing support for the existing game, meaning it is not yet content-complete. The developer also released a related title, Dark Dominion, on May 13, 2026, demonstrating the studio remains active and productive.
