The most significant ongoing development is an unshipped multiplayer co-op mode. The developer first hinted at it in June 2024, formally announced it on October 13, 2025, released a teaser video on December 17, 2025, and provided a detailed technical update on February 26, 2026. That latest update confirmed the mode is already playable internally but explicitly stated it "still requires polishing, balancing, optimization, and additional content" before it is ready for release.
