Darkness Within 1: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder is a re-release of a 2007 point-and-click adventure game, brought to Steam on November 13, 2014 with enhanced graphics and Steam achievements. The only post-launch content released was the original soundtrack as a DLC on November 3, 2015, accompanied by a small visual patch. All released DLC is accounted for with no unreleased items listed.
The developer's last communication was on October 6, 2016, announcing a new game called Conarium — a separate title, not new content for this game. The November 2014 launch post mentioned the vague possibility of a "Darkness Within 3" depending on audience reception, but this was a passing remark, not a commitment, and no subsequent post has ever affirmed that such a project is in development. The studio's efforts since 2016 have clearly pivoted to Conarium.
