Date Everything!

Date Everything! launched on Steam on June 17, 2025 as a fully-featured sandbox dating simulator with 100 voice-acted characters. Following launch, Sassy Chap Games was consistently active in addressing bugs and improving the experience: multiple hotfixes shipped in late June and July 2025, Patch 3 arrived on October 8, 2025, and a security update was deployed in early October 2025. On June 11, 2026 — exactly one year after launch — the developer released the "Self Care" update. This is the largest post-launch content drop to date, adding key rebinding, screenshot mode, player pronoun customization, new voice recordings from cast members (including new studio sessions with Daisuke Tsuji and others), a new Daisuke/Gaia interaction, timed seasonal content (2D art for Christmas and Valentine's Day), accessibility improvements for hearing-impaired players, and a broad range of quality-of-life features including chat history, auto-advance, and fast forward. The developer framed it as a love letter to the community celebrating the anniversary, with no indication that this represents a final update. The only DLC listed — the Lavish DLC — shipped on launch day (June 17, 2025) and is fully released. The developer has made no statement that content development is complete, and the Self Care update's scale and tone suggest ongoing engagement with the game. As of today (August 21, 2026), the last developer communication was on June 11, 2026 — just over two months ago — which is well within the active post-launch update pattern established since release.
