Day of Dragons

Day of Dragons remains in Steam Early Access and is in vigorous, ongoing development. The developer shipped multiple patches in June 2026 alone — Patch 1.2.30 on June 15, Patch 1.2.31 on June 30, and a final hotfix (Patch 1.2.32) on July 1, 2026. That July 1 post is particularly significant: the developer explicitly stated that 1.2.32 is the final patch in the 1.2 lifecycle and that work on Update 1.3 will now begin, which will introduce a new dragon species called the Singe Crest (a healer-class archetype) along with new healing and fishing mechanics. Looking back further, a developer blog from April 3, 2026 laid out a full roadmap: Update 1.3 was described as bringing Skin Crafting, a Forgotten Forest map update, an in-game lorebook called "Tales of Dragons," and Fantasy Servers supporting 300+ players. Update 1.4, featuring the Singe Crest Wyvern, was also announced. Both updates were estimated for a 2026 release. The game has maintained a strong content cadence since at least 2024, with major updates arriving roughly every 6–12 months (the Winter Holiday event in December 2024, Update 1.2 in March 2025), supplemented by frequent feature patches and hotfixes. Cosmetic DLC has also continued shipping alongside gameplay content, with the most recent skin pack released on June 8, 2026. There is no ambiguity about the game's current state: the developer is actively communicating, has just shipped a major patch series, and has explicitly named the next update and some of its contents.
