Evaluation

Day of Infamy launched on March 23, 2017 and received one confirmed post-launch content update from New World Interactive: the Flak Tower update on December 14, 2017, which added a new map, new gameplay features, and engine improvements. That appears to be the last major content update the developer shipped for the base game. No further major updates from New World Interactive have been posted since December 2017 — a span of nearly eight years to today's date of June 27, 2026. The two other "major content" posts in the news history (August 2019 and July 2021) are both announcements for the Screaming Steel community mod, not official developer-released content for the base game. The mod team explicitly stated in their July 2021 post that the Endgame update was their final content release for the mod. The most recent official communication from the developer (or their current parent, Saber Interactive) was a December 24, 2025 notice announcing the removal of BattlEye anti-cheat support — a maintenance action, not a content release. Notably, the store page now warns that the game cannot run on Windows 11 version 24H2, and the support link points to Saber Interactive's portal rather than New World Interactive's own channels, indicating the studio has moved on and the game is in a legacy maintenance state at best. The only DLC listed is the Deluxe DLC, which released on March 27, 2017 — four days after launch — and contains cosmetic/bonus content. No unreleased DLC exists. The developer has not announced any future content. All evidence points to the game having been content-complete since the Flak Tower update in December 2017.
